? *Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials locally in a hopper bottom. Must be available to work weekends also! Three years experience with hoppers must be verified to be considered.
? *Responsibilities:**
– Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various locations
– Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
– Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
– Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of vehicles
– Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
? *Experience:**
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
– Familiarity with regional lanes and navigating local routes efficiently
– Experience with flatbed, forklift, or heavy equipment operation is a plus
– Knowledge of automotive repair basics is beneficial
– Ability to drive various vehicles such as roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, or tankers
This position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The successful candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
