? Caseload: Diverse K-12 students
? Contract Type: 1099
? Pay Rate: $54-$59 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
? Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
? Provide engaging virtual speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based strategies.
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students? educational experiences.
? Track and document students’ progress, modifying therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
? Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students’ communication needs and goals.
Qualifications:
? Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
? Current SLP-CCC license in New York State.
? Minimum of two years of experience working in school settings preferred.
? Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and tools is advantageous.
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
? Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
